HaiDOC Productions is much more than a documentary film production house. We are a team of Moldovan storytellers who not only create and dream but live through film. Our approach is to delve into unique and impactful social themes through ethnographic exploration, dedicating substantial time, attention, and involvement to allow each story to unfold naturally.
Our projects are designed to live up to the name HaiDOC – a play on words (‘Hai!’ meaning ‘come on, let’s go, let’s do it’ in Romanian, plus ‘DOCumentaries’) reminiscent of the legendary ‘haiduc’, the local robin-hood type – symbolizing our mission to capture valuable stories from those rich (in experiences, memories, creativity, wisdom, and uniqueness) and share them with those craving genuine emotions captured on film.
